Abstract
The characterization of DAEs by the tractability index concept bases on the investigation of the related matrix sequence. The algorithmic steps of the implementation of the sequence consist of the computation of admissible nullspace projectors, including the widely orthogonal projectors, and ways to perform the differentiation of projectors, if neccessary. Different aspects to compute the required objects are discussed.
