1. Get your HU account

   Register at CMS with your enrolment papers and PIN letter: cms.hu-berlin.de/anmeldung

2. Set or change your password

   Pick a strong password right away – rules on the password page.

3. Set up Eduroam Wi-Fi

   Works across the whole campus, many other universities and the cafeteria. Setup guide →

4. Set up email

   Webmail or a desktop client – IMAP/SMTP settings.

5. SSH from home (optional)

   Only when you start working remotely – needs VPN or an SSH key. SSH guide →
