License for your own laptop
Several vendors offer free home licenses for HU members.
Mathematica – Home Use
Via the Wolfram user portal: register your HU email at user.wolfram.com and request an activation key.
Matlab – Total Academic Headcount
HU has a campus TAH license including home use. Guide via CMS: cms.hu-berlin.de/.../matlab.
Maple
Home license on request – email us with your HU account and target platform.
Office 365
HU account holders get Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams) free – see CMS Office 365 page.
Procurement & specialist software
Need software not in the lists above – e.g. COMSOL, Stata, ANSYS, a specific IDE bundle – email us with a brief justification and the expected number of users. We will check whether an HU-wide license exists or whether procurement makes sense.
