- Geometry of elliptic fibrations,
- K3 surfaces,
- Moduli spaces of curves,
- p-adic cohomology and zeta functions,
- Syzygies,
- Theta functions,
- Topology of singular hypersurfaces, and
- Vector bundles on algebraic curves.
