Moduli and Automorphic Forms:
Arithmetic and Geometric Aspects

Logo MAF

The new international research training group (IRTG) aims at bundling the broad expertise in graduate education at HU Berlin / FU Berlin and at U Amsterdam / U Leiden in the field of arithmetic algebraic and complex algebraic geometry. More specifically, we aim at investigating questions about the interplay between the arithmetic and the geometry of moduli spaces, as well as questions related to the arithmetic theory of automorphic forms.

Our research program comprises the following three research areas

                                    A. Arithmetic of Moduli,
                                    B. Heights, Densities, and Degenerations,
                                    C. Automorphic Forms,

which have mutual interconnections.
