Hello and welcome to my page!
I‘m a juniorprofessor for interdisciplinary mathematics at the math institute of the Humboldt University in Berlin.
In my case that means that I work with stochastic processes inspired
by and with applications in biological phenomena, mostly population
genetics.
But my background is that of a probabilist and I am always open to new
and interesting problems!
From April 19th 2025 on I am on mandatory maternal leave. I will be prohibited from working for 8 weeks some time in June-July and will take full parental leave until at least January 2026.
During this time I will have irregular access to my e-mails. Please contact my secretary Marina Filatova (marina.filatova "at" hu-berlin.de) in urgent cases.
If you need any special assistance to attend any of my lectures please get in touch with me. Likewise, I aim to keep this website as accessible as possible, so feel free to contact me with comments on the quality and potential improvements in this regard.
