HU guest house - conference venueThe conference venue (green house on the map) is in walking distance (5-10 min) to the HU guest house (red bed in the map).Park Inn Hotel - conference venueParticipants who are staying in the Park Inn Hotel (red bed on the map) can use the local buses no. 100, 200, and TXL from the station “Staatsoper” on “Unter den Linden” near “Bebelplatz” (5 min walk from the conference venue) to station “S+U Alexanderplatz Bhf/Memhardstr.” Alternatively, one can walk, approximately 1.5 km (20 min).

You can use any kind of public transport (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram, Bus) with one ticket. For the bus ride from the conference venue to the Park Inn Hotel you only need a “short-trip” ticket (“Kurzstrecke”) which costs € 1.50 per ride, or € ace;5.60 if you buy four rides at once (“Kurzstrecke 4-Fahrten-Karte”). A day ticket for fare zone “Berlin AB” costs € 6.70, a 7-day ticket costs € 28.80. “Berlin AB” includes the airport Berlin Tegel. In order to go to the airport Berlin Schönefeld, you need a Berlin ABC ticket (one way 3.20~\euro, “Einzelfahrschein Berlin ABC”). -> check Berlin public transport |
