Humboldt Universität zu Berlin Website

Short CV

Since March 2021 I am a juniorprofessor (with TT) for Interdisciplinary Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics (IoM) of the Humboldt-university in Berlin.
I am a member of the BMS Admissions Committee, a PI in the IRTG2544 “Stochastic Analysis in Interaction”, an elected member of the “Institutsrat” of IoM and have a project in the Berlin Mathematics Research Center MATH+.

From 2018 to 2021 I was a juniorprofessor for stochastics at the Mathematics Department of the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB) where I was also a PI of the RTG2131.

From 2016 to 2018 I was a post-doc in the groups of Noemi Kurt and Jochen Blath at the Institute of Mathematics of the Technical University Berlin (TUB) as part of the SPP1590 „Probabilistic Structures in Evolution“.
After this I did a short internship at Hellinger | Doll before moving on to RUB.

From 2010 to 2016 I worked as a teaching and research assistant (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Institute of Mathematics of the TUB and did my PhD (Dr. rer.nat.) under the supervision of Michael Scheutzow. During this time I was an associated member of the BMS and the RTG1845 and I worked at SwingStep as a dance teacher.

From 2004 to 2010 I completed my „Diplom“ in Mathematics with a minor in economy at the TU Berlin which I concluded with a Diplom-thesis entitled „Lipschitz percolation“ under the supervision of Michael Scheutzow.
I spent the academic year of 2006-2007 as an Erasmus student at Paris 7 - Denis Diderot (back then still at Jussieu).

Where to find me

Due to the birth of my son I have had to reduce my travels significantly, I hope to list here conferences and activities I will be attending and look forward to meeting you there!
