Note for students unfamiliar with the system: You can freely choose to register for the first exam date or instead wait for the second date. If you fail on the first date, then the second date serves as a second chance. If you do not register for the first date and then fail on the second date, then you have to wait for the following year (when someone else will be teaching the course and its contents may be different) for an opporunity to try again. Here is some advice on preparation for the exam, including a list of specific topics that are in the lecture notes but considered non-examinable. Übungsblätter / Problem setsProblem sets will normally be posted in this spot every Thursday and discussed in the problem session (Übung) the following week. Some problems may pertain to material to be covered in the following Monday lecture.
